We were created for belonging, and each one of us has an innate desire to connect and feel seen. My experience as a therapist allows me to connect with a variety of people from all walks of life, including children, teenagers, athletes, couples, and families. Whether you’re dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or other concerns, I would be honored to walk alongside you to help you find healing, peace, and strength in God. John 8:32 says “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” It is my firm belief that God will always fulfill His promises.
Our path is often marred by the many distractions that keep us from finding our true identity and God’s purpose for our lives. My passion is to facilitate clarity and provide support by helping you find meaning in the midst of your suffering and increasing the awareness and potential for choice. Our past does not define us; it is what we do with our circumstances that molds our character. We always have a choice in how we respond to life. “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” – Viktor E. Frankl
As your counselor, I will help you recognize where your true hope and peace can be found. Whether you’re dealing with trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, or other issues, I will work with you to find healing in your own mind, heart, and soul, as well as relational healing with those around you. I have witnessed the amazing work of God in my own life and so many others, and it would be my privilege to walk with you as you seek to discover Him as your true source of lasting hope.
If you feel overwhelmed, exhausted, anxious, depressed, isolated, hopeless, frustrated, or just stuck in life, you have taken the brave first step toward healing by seeking therapy. Life is full of trials, and I endeavor to walk beside my clients with empathy and grace to navigate these difficulties together. I offer professional, evidenced-based Christian counseling for adult individuals and couples. I utilize a compassionate and non-judgmental approach in therapy. No matter where you are in your walk with God, we can work at your own pace to explore your emotional distress and spiritual struggles.
I desire to create an environment where you can feel safe, seen, and valued for who you are as an individual made in the image of God. I view our time together as a chance to learn, play, risk, heal, and come away impacted by one another. I employ humor and playfulness in sessions when it is appropriate, but also feel very comfortable with intense feelings of anger and grief. I am not overwhelmed easily by big feelings, so I will invite you to bring those in with you to our sessions instead of leaving them at the proverbial door.
People are my calling. My job is to help people like you heal their lives, relationships, and families. With over two decades of experience helping tens of thousands of individuals, couples, and families, I offer empathy, a listening ear, and a healthy dose of wisdom. I am straightforward and often use humor in my practice. I believe it’s so important to be relaxed in this work. I work quickly and don’t waste time getting down to the business of healing people of all ages, backgrounds, genders, relationships, and cultures.
As your counselor, I will share professional and personal therapeutic strategies that will help you live a more balanced, connected, and joy-filled life in Christ. I offer counseling for children, teens, adult individuals, and families. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship issues, concerns related to aging, or other challenges, it would be my pleasure to support you as you walk the path toward growth and healing. With God’s help through Christian counseling, it is possible to experience restoration.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I have extensive experience working with a wide range of clients from diverse backgrounds, including teenagers, adult individuals, parents, and couples. As your therapist I promise to show up and listen well with empathy and a non-judgmental approach. I will work with you to process whatever issues you may be dealing with, whether it’s anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family problems, trauma, grief, abandonment issues, or other concerns. Together we will establish a workable plan with God’s guidance to help you move from despair and discouragement to healing and hope.
I’m a firm believer in the limitless possibilities for redemption through faith in Christ. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Supervisor with extensive experience in bilingual counseling, and helping people work through anxiety, depression, women’s issues, and trauma. I understand what it feels like to go through dark, seemingly hopeless times, but I know that everything God brings you through will shape you into all you are meant to become. Working with you is an honor, and I’m dedicated to helping you learn, heal, and grow as you work towards a future that is made new in Christ.
Therapy offers a unique opportunity for you to engage with your story, to explore with curiosity and kindness, to be seen and heard, and to heal and grow. I approach our work together by inviting a trustworthy, professional collaboration to explore your relationship with yourself, with others, and with the stories that have shaped who you are today. We were created to flourish in our relationships but so often relational experiences feel disconnected, confusing, and messy. With God’s help through the context of Christian counseling, you can experience wholeness, recovery, and lasting hope.
