Depression in Teens: Ways to Help Your Teenager

It can be difficult to know if your teenager is depressed, as many of the signs and symptoms of depression in teens can be similar to those of normal adolescent development. However, if you notice a significant change in your teenager’s behavior that lasts for more than two weeks, it could be a sign of depression. Some common signs of depression in teens include: Persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness. Lack of energy or interest in previously enjoyable activities.
