Life can be hard. God did not promise us that life was going to be easy, but He does not call us to do it on our own. I believe that things can get better, and I will meet you where you are and hold on to hope for you when you cannot. My hope is that your growth will transform various relationships and areas in your life and help you become a better son or daughter, friend, parent, co-worker, classmate, or spouse. Together we will look to our God, who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).
Life is a series of transitions that can be very challenging. With God’s help, change is possible. As your counselor, I would be honored to hear you, see you, and work with you. I want to encourage you by saying that I am here for you, and together we can work through whatever challenges you may be facing. If you’re experiencing a life transition or a lingering hardship, Christian counseling is a great place to start to get the help you need.

I have a very relaxed and approachable vibe and hope to create a safe and warm environment where you can come as you are and feel truly accepted and seen, both by me and the Lord. The relationship between the counselor and client is pivotal and it’s important to have a therapist you feel like you can trust and open up to. I value laughter and humor and, where appropriate, enjoy incorporating this into our time together. I have also worked with individuals who have special needs and am perceptive, flexible, and accommodating in order to make your time in therapy fit well with your individual needs.

In Psalm 50:15 God says, “Call upon me in thy day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.” My mom taught me this Scripture when I was three years old. I have used it many times in my life. We all struggle to reach out and let others help, but you are doing just that. You are asking God for guidance, you are calling out for help, and I believe that God will deliver you from your troubles. As a licensed counselor with over 30 years of experience, I will help you evaluate your current circumstances and accomplish your goals by using proven and effective techniques and strategies. As you draw from the power of the Holy Spirit, you will be led down the path of healing and purpose that God has for you.
Deciding to seek out a counselor can be difficult. Admitting you have an issue you can’t conquer on your own can be unbelievably humbling. We were not made to live in isolation, to figure everything out, or to get through all of life’s challenges alone. As one who has encountered storms in life, I can tell you that no matter how strong the wind and the waves may be, you can weather and overcome them through Jesus Christ. Combining my biblical and mental health training with my 23 years of experience in the field, I would be honored to come alongside you to help you find healing and restoration.
As a Christian Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), I offer individual counseling for teens and adults facing a wide range of concerns. In our counseling sessions, I will use measurable steps to help you by combining your faith with proven treatment methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in a personalized, supportive way so you can meet the goals you desire to achieve.
As your counselor, I will partner with you and walk with you in your time of need. I offer an open, welcoming space where you can share your story without fear of judgement. My goal is to be a consistent source of honesty and support for you, driven by my passion and purpose to serve.

Too often clients come into counseling feeling a sense of failure or defeat, but I believe the very act of making your first appointment is a victory, a decision to take care of yourself and get the support you need. As a Christian counselor, my goal is to help you find hope and strength, worth and peace, not in spite of your trials and pain, but by having lived through them. My hope is that through our sessions you will gain a deeper knowledge that even in the midst of your brokenness, you are a beloved child of God.
