About

I believe every person was created with purpose, value, and the capacity for healing through Christ. My counseling style is warm, relational, and collaborative, creating a space where you feel genuinely known, supported, and encouraged to grow. Along the way, I’ll equip you with practical tools you can use in everyday life, including tools for healthier communication, emotional regulation, stronger boundaries, and biblical practices that deepen your relationship with God. My aim is to help you renew your mind, discover your true identity in Christ, and experience the freedom and restoration only He can provide.

My Goal as a Christian Counselor

My goal as your counselor is to help you experience healing, wholeness, and freedom in every area of your life. I desire to create a compassionate environment where you can process difficult experiences, develop healthier thought patterns, strengthen your relationships, and grow in your understanding of your true identity in Christ. My hope is that through our time together, you will be equipped in your walk with Christ so you can experience a life of purpose, wisdom, healing, freedom, and the ability to hear the voice of God.

What I Offer in Christian Counseling

I offer a compassionate, holistic, Holy Spirit-filled approach that addresses the emotional, relational, and spiritual aspects of healing. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I will help you explore the underlying beliefs, experiences, wounds, and patterns that may be contributing to your struggles. You will learn practical tools for emotional regulation, communication, healthy relationships, boundary setting, and renewing unhealthy thought patterns. As a Christian counselor, these tools will be integrated alongside biblical truth, prayer, and faith-based support.

My Approach to Christian Counseling

My approach to Christian counseling combines clinical understanding with a strong foundation in biblical truth. I approach each client as an individual with their own experiences and unique thought patterns. With compassion and grace, I will meet you where you are in your thinking and processing styles. I understand the impact that trauma, fear, attachment wounds, shame, and unhealthy thought patterns can have on an individual’s life, relationships, and identity. And yet, with God’s help and enabling, healing is possible.

Biography

Qualifications & Experience

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Social Work, both from Eastern Washington University. I have experience working with children, youth, and families in various settings, including child welfare, crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and spiritual mentorship. I bring a combination of professional experience in trauma and crisis work alongside years of mentorship, discipleship, and relational ministry.

My Call to Christian Counseling

Having been raised in a legalistic church, I was taught that God is angry, He is a judge, and I have to do good deeds in order to earn my salvation. When I personally met Jesus, I found out I am loved and His love set me free. I realized I cannot do anything to add or take away from my salvation. He redeemed me, and my position went from slave to daughter.

Since then, I have been walking with Jesus in an intimate way, something I did not know I could have previously. He has called me to help others discover their true identity in Christ. I want to help people realize how good their heavenly Father actually is, and how deeply they are loved. Through Jesus, we can experience full life and all that He paid for us to receive, including peace, joy, and all of the heavenly blessings.

More About Me / On a Personal Note

I love spending time with my people and being outdoors, especially in the summer. I love trees, lakes, nature, camping, fishing, paddle boarding, tanning, hiking, bonfires, sunsets, and volleyball. I love coffee. I also enjoy spending quality time with my two best friends, whether that is getting coffee, hitting the gym, or going on a nature walk or a drive. In addition, I am on the core team of a young adult ministry and help to plan weekly gatherings that include a time of fellowship, growing in community, and prayer.

Coaching and Individual Counseling

For individuals looking for extra support or guidance in their life while walking a life of faith, in our time together we can process any big decisions, fears, transitions, or anything else that may feel like too much to do alone. Together with God’s help we can work on forming identity, emotional maturity, and practical steps for building a healthier, happier life.

Spiritual Development

Perhaps you feel distant from God, spiritually stuck, overwhelmed by shame, or unsure of your identity and purpose. My goal is to help you deepen your relationship with God while renewing your mind through biblical truth and healthy emotional processing. My hope is that through our time together, you will grow in intimacy with God, confidence in who He created you to be, and freedom from fear and condemnation.

Women’s Issues

As women, we often carry pressure, insecurity, fear, comparison, emotional exhaustion, or feelings of not being enough. I desire to help women better understand themselves, grow in emotional health, strengthen boundaries, and walk confidently in their God-given identity. Depending on your needs and goals, working with me could include targeting self-esteem, communication, shame recovery, anxious attachment, people pleasing, lack of confidence, spiritual identity confusion, and emotional healing from dysfunctional family systems.
Relationship Issues Relationships can deeply impact our emotional and spiritual well-being. Whether you are struggling with communication, conflict, trust, boundaries, or unhealthy patterns, we can work together to develop healthier relational skills and greater emotional awareness. Together we will work toward creating relationships marked by honesty, safety, connection, and mutual understanding.

OCD

I have walked side-by-side with close friends and relatives dealing with extreme OCD, and I was able to be there for them in their scariest moments. I am very familiar with the modalities used to treat this diagnosis and would be honored to help you address the symptoms and causes of OCD as well.
